When You're In Martinique, Stay In Le Vauclin !
While it’s easy to fill your stay with swims in the pool, there’s plenty more to see around the house. Le Vauclin is a small seaside town in the South of Martinique with a lot to offer.
Nature lovers and hiking enthusiasts will appreciate the trail of the Vauclin Loop (Boucle du Vauclin) which passes near the Villa Azura Martinique . The trail goes through a fishing village, wild beaches and the Trou Cochon mangrove. Those who are more athletic will enjoy climbing the Vauclin Mountain or the Trace des Caps which connects Vauclin to Sainte-Anne.
It has a few beaches : Pointe Faula is great for kite surfers and children because the wind is strong while the water is shallow. Le Petit and Le Grand Macabou are well preserved and often deserted places.
Le Vauclin also offers gas stations, vending machines, a post office, some local shops and restaurants . The Charlery House is listed as a historical monument. The fishing harbor is the place to go to find fresh fish to grill.
